Pharmaceutical
packaging has to be carried out for the purpose of the safety of the
materials in order to keep them free from contamination and ensure
product safety through the intended shelf life for the pharmaceuticals. The industry in many countries is pushing ahead with verification and identification of individual packs, including serialization numbers and machine-readable printed codes which can be used to verify authenticity. Printers from inc.jet are being used extensively to support such Track and Trace initiatives.

inc.jet printers were chosen by a Pharma equipment manufacurer who developed and installed a standalone station for the printing and checking of Datamatrix and of all variable data on carton packaging lines. Using special inks, ultra high contrasts and print qualities of grade B are achieved, even at high speed.
